These are 16 students from Year 10 - 8 boys and 8 girls where possible - who are interviewed and selected by the PE department.

• Their role is to be in charge of the sports they are assigned to (rugby/football/netball/hockey etc.)
• Attend one extra-curricular club a week as a coach to help members of staff
• Referee inter-school matches (with appropriate qualification)
• Uphold department standards within PE lessons and across school
• Lunchtime duty (astro/sports hall/gym etc.)
• Oversee young leaders and help with organising/running of PSP events

If you are interested

• Write a letter to the PE department, outlining what you think makes you a good leader and how you have contributed to Priestlands’ sport so far.
• Be prepared to be interviewed by the PE department as part of the application process.
