The Student Record Book (SRB)
- Staff for communication with home, with other staff and to record merits
- Parents to communicate with school
- Students to:
- write down their homework, including any information they need to supplement what may be provided via the online Show My Homework/SatchelOne platform
- write in their TRA grades
- write in when letters have been sent home
- keep their lesson timetable visible and correct
Students should
- Keep their SRB graffiti free both inside and out
- Record homework clearly, writing in the subject and the date the homework is due
- Ensure their parents sign it weekly
- Always have put it on the desk at the start of the lesson
Tutors are expected to
- Check daily that students have their SRBs and, if not, issue a day sheet, keeping a record of any issued
- Check the SRB weekly for
- parent signatures
- homework recorded appropriately
- presentation of the SRB i.e. no graffiti present
- Referrals by members of staff that need following up
- Comments from parents which need action
